Crankshaft Position Sensor Installation


  1. INSTALL CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR

  2. INSTALL IDLER PULLEY ASSEMBLY (w/o Air Conditioning System)

  3. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  4. INSTALL COOLER COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Air Conditioning System)

  5. INSTALL GENERATOR ASSEMBLY

Crankshaft Position Sensor -- Installation



1. INSTALL CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR

  1. Apply a light coat of engine oil to the O-ring of the sensor.

    NOTICE:
    1. When reusing the sensor, inspect the O-ring.
    2. If the O-ring has scratches or cuts, replace the sensor.

  1. Install the sensor with the bolt.

    Torque:
    10 N*m{102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf}

  1. Connect the sensor connector.



2. INSTALL IDLER PULLEY ASSEMBLY (w/o Air Conditioning System)

  1. Install the idler pulley with the 3 bolts.

    Torque:
    25 N*m{255 kgf*cm, 18 ft.*lbf}


3. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    Land Cruiser, Land Cruiser Prado. Grj150 Trj150,155 Kdj150,155 Lj150, Gdj150,155

  1. Hook the engine under cover to the vehicle body as shown in the illustration.

  1. Install the 4 bolts.

    Torque:
    29 N*m{296 kgf*cm, 21 ft.*lbf}


4. INSTALL COOLER COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Air Conditioning System)

  1. Install the cooler compressor (LandCruiser RM0000017ZZ07QX.html).



5. INSTALL GENERATOR ASSEMBLY

  1. Install the generator (LandCruiser RM000001ONM04ZX.html).
