DESCRIPTION
In some cases, wireless control functions are normal but one or more of the following may occur:- The hazard warning light answer-back function is not normal (the theft warning ECU's turn signal flasher relay output may be malfunctioning).
- The security horn answer-back function is not normal (the security horn signal output may be malfunctioning)*.
- HINT:
- *: The security horn applies only if the wireless answer-back function has been customized so that the hazard warning lights flash and the security horn sounds.

2.CHECK HAZARD WARNING LIGHT |
Check that the hazard warning lights flash when the hazard warning signal switch is pressed.
- OK:
- Hazard warning lights flash.
3.CHECK WIRE HARNESS (THEFT WARNING ECU - TURN SIGNAL FLASHER RELAY) |
Disconnect the T36 theft warning ECU connector.
Disconnect the T40 turn signal flasher relay connector.
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
