Map Light Assembly Removal


  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 MAP LIGHT LENS

  3. REMOVE NO. 2 MAP LIGHT LENS

  4. REMOVE MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY

Map Light Assembly -- Removal




1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.


2. REMOVE NO. 1 MAP LIGHT LENS

  1. Using a screwdriver, pry out the 2 claws and remove the map light lens.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.


3. REMOVE NO. 2 MAP LIGHT LENS
HINT:
Use the same procedures described for the No. 1 lens.


4. REMOVE MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the 2 screws.

  1. Pull the map light toward the vehicle's front and remove the map light as shown in the illustration.

  1. Disconnect the light connector.
