Headlight Assembly (For Hid Headlight) -- Installation |
- CAUTION:
- Make sure that the headlight control ECU sub-assembly LH is not connected or hot before installation the headlight control ECU sub-assembly.
- HINT:
- Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
- The procedure listed below is for the LH side.
| 1. INSTALL HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH |
Connect the connectors.
Install the headlight assembly LH with the bolt and 3 screws.
| 2. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER COVER |
w/ Headlight Cleaner System:
Connect the headlight cleaner hose.
w/ Fog Light:
Connect the 2 fog light connectors.
Attach the 8 claws to install the front bumper cover.
Install the 5 clips, 2 bolts and 2 screws.
Install the 3 clips and 6 screws.
| 3. INSTALL FOG LIGHT COVER LH |
Attach the 8 claws to install the fog light cover.
| 4. INSTALL FOG LIGHT COVER RH |
- HINT:
- Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
| 5. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE |
Attach the 6 claws to install the radiator grille.
Install the 2 screws and 2 clips.
| 6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL |
- NOTICE:
- When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Toyota Fortuner RM000004W63000X.html).
| 7. ADJUST HEADLIGHT AIMING |
| 8. ADJUST FOG LIGHT AIMING |
| 9. PERFORM INITIALIZATION |
