Transponder Key Amplifier Installation


  1. INSTALL TRANSPONDER KEY AMPLIFIER

  2. INSTALL STEERING COLUMN UPPER COVER

  3. INSTALL STEERING COLUMN LOWER COVER

  4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

Transponder Key Amplifier -- Installation


HINT:
  1. Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.
  2. The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.


1. INSTALL TRANSPONDER KEY AMPLIFIER

  1. Connect the transponder key amplifier connector.



    Toyota Fortuner. Ggn50, 60 Kun51, 61 Tgn51 Lan50.Engine Immobiliser.Transponder Key Amplifier.Transponder Key Amplifier Installation

  1. Align the claw of the transponder key amplifier with the upper bracket.

  1. Push in the transponder key amplifier and install it to the upper bracket.

    NOTICE:
    Do not push in the amplifier with excessive force as it may be damaged.


2. INSTALL STEERING COLUMN UPPER COVER

  1. Attach the claw to install the upper cover.



3. INSTALL STEERING COLUMN LOWER COVER


    Toyota Fortuner. Ggn50, 60 Kun51, 61 Tgn51 Lan50

  1. Install the lower cover with the 3 screws.



4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Toyota Fortuner RM000004W63000X.html).
