Front Seat Inner Belt Assembly (For Power Seat) Removal


  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side)

  3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side)

  4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side)

  5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side)

Front Seat Inner Belt Assembly (For Power Seat) -- Removal



1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.


2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side)

  1. Remove the front seat (Toyota Fortuner RM000003NZX00PX.html).



3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side)

  1. Remove the front seat (Toyota Fortuner RM000000Z8U004X.html).



4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side)

  1. Disconnect the connector and detach the 3 clamps.

  1. Remove the nut and front seat inner belt assembly.

  1. Remove the buckle cover.



5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side)

  1. w/ Passenger Seat Belt Warning Light:
    Detach the 2 clamps.

  1. w/ Passenger Seat Belt Warning Light:
    Disconnect the connector.

  1. w/ Passenger Seat Belt Warning Light:
    Detach the wire harness from the clamp.

  1. Remove the nut and seat belt.

  1. Remove the buckle cover.
