1. INSTALL VACUUM PUMP ASSEMBLY


    Toyota Fortuner. Ggn50, 60 Kun51, 61 Tgn51 Lan50.Brake.Vacuum Pump (For 5L-E).Vacuum Pump (For 5L-E) Installation

  1. Align the matchmarks and install the vacuum pump to the generator with the 4 bolts.

    Torque:
    7.8 N*m{80 kgf*cm, 69 in.*lbf}


2. INSTALL GENERATOR WITH VACUUM PUMP ASSEMBLY
HINT:
Refer to the instructions for installation of the generator with vacuum pump (Toyota Fortuner RM0000014PF00IX.html).


3. CHECK VACUUM PUMP ASSEMBLY

  1. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the vacuum pump.

  1. Connect the hose of a vacuum gauge to the pump.

  1. Insert a plug into the other hose of the gauge.

  1. Start the engine and warm it up for more than 2 minutes.

  1. With the engine idling, measure the negative pressure of the pump.

    Standard negative pressure:
    More than 86.7 kPa (650 mmHg, 26 in.Hg)

  1. Remove the gauge from the pump.

  1. Connect the hose to the pump with the clip.
