Deceleration Sensor (W/ Abs) Removal


  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH

  3. REMOVE FLOOR CARPET COVER

  4. REMOVE SENSOR BRACKET

  5. REMOVE DECELERATION SENSOR

Deceleration Sensor (W/ Abs) -- Removal



1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Toyota Fortuner RM000004W63000X.html).


2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH
  1. Remove the front seat assembly RH (Toyota Fortuner RM000000Z8U004X.html).



3. REMOVE FLOOR CARPET COVER


    Toyota Fortuner. Ggn50, 60 Kun51, 61 Tgn51 Lan50
  1. Detach the 4 claws and remove the floor carpet cover.



4. REMOVE SENSOR BRACKET
  1. Remove the 2 bolts and sensor bracket.



5. REMOVE DECELERATION SENSOR

  1. Disconnect the deceleration sensor connector.

  1. Remove the deceleration sensor.
