  1. After starting the engine, disconnect the purge line hose shown in the illustration.

  1. Confirm that a vacuum occurs at the purge VSV port when choosing "ACTIVE TEST" and "PURGE VSV" according to the display on the intelligent tester.

  1. Finish "ACTIVE TEST", and connect the purge line hose again.

  1. After going to "ECU DATA MONITOR" on the intelligent tester, choose "PURGE VSV" to check the operation of the purge VSV.

  1. After warming up the engine and driving the vehicle, confirm that the purge VSV turns from off to on.
