LOW PITCHED HORN - INSPECTION

1. INSPECT LOW PITCHED HORN ASSEMBLY (for Spiral Type)

Apply battery voltage and check operation of the horn, as shown in the table.

  • OK:
  • Measurement ConditionSpecified Condition
    Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1
    Battery negative (-) → Body ground    		Horn sounds

If the result is not as specified, replace the horn.


2. INSPECT LOW PITCHED HORN ASSEMBLY (for Standard)

Apply battery voltage and check operation of the horn, as shown in the table.

  • Measurement ConditionSpecified Condition
    Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1

If the result is not as specified, replace the horn.
