Engine Switch - Installation
Attach the 2 claws to install the switch.
Engine Switch - Inspection
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Engine Switch - Removal
Turn the shift lever knob counterclockwise and remove the shift lever knob sub-assembly.

Starter Cut Relay - On-Vehicle Inspection
Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between each terminal.
- Standard resistance:
Tester Connection Specified Condition 3-5 10 MΩ or higher 3-5 Below 1 Ω (when battery voltage is applied to terminals 1 and 2)
If the result is not as specified, replace the relay.
Starter Relay - On-Vehicle Inspection
Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between each terminal.
- Standard resistance:
Tester Connection Specified Condition 3-5 10 MΩ or higher 3-5 Below 1 Ω (when battery voltage is applied to terminals 1 and 2)
If the result is not as specified, replace the relay.
Starter - Installation
Install the starter with the 2 bolts.
Starter - Reassembly
Apply high-temperature grease to the drive lever set pin, as shown in the illustration.
