Dtc P1608 Engine Lack Of Power

This DTC is stored if engine output decreases due to a malfunction in the intake or exhaust system, fuel system or cooling system.

Using the GTS, the conditions present when the DTC was stored can be confirmed by referring to the freeze frame data. Freeze frame data records engine conditions when a malfunction occurs. This information can be useful when troubleshooting.

Dtc P0100 Mass Air Flow Circuit Malfunction

The mass air flow meter consists of a platinum hot wire, a temperature sensor and a control circuit installed in a plastic housing. The temperature sensor (located in the intake air by-pass of the housing) detects the intake air temperature.

There is little variation in the output from the mass air flow meter, as the output voltage is converted into a periodic signal which minimizes the effect of wire harness resistance.

Dtc P1603 Engine Stall History

After starting the engine, this DTC is stored when the engine stops without the engine switch being operated.

Using the GTS, the conditions present when the DTC was stored can be confirmed by referring to the freeze frame data. Freeze frame data records engine conditions when a malfunction occurs. This information can be useful when troubleshooting.

Dtc P0088 Fuel Rail / System Pressure - Too High

The ECM stores this DTC if the fuel pressure inside the common rail assembly is higher than 250000 kPa (2550 kgf/cm2, 36250 psi). This DTC indicates that: 1) the suction control valve may be stuck open, or 2) there may be a short in the suction control valve circuit.

If this DTC is stored, the ECM enters fail-safe mode and limits the engine power. The ECM continues operating in fail-safe mode until the engine switch is turned off.
