Apply a light coat of engine oil to 2 new O-rings and a new oil cooler gasket, and set them to the oil cooler.

Visual check that the oil cooler for damage.

If necessary, replace the oil cooler assembly.

Remove the 3 bolts and screw.

Install the scavenging pump with the 4 bolts.

Turn the gear and check that the scavenging pump bearing moves smoothly and quietly.

If necessary, replace the scavenging pump assembly.

Disconnect the cables from the negative (-) main battery and sub-battery terminals.
