Front Propeller Shaft Assembly - Inspection
Using a dial indicator, measure the propeller shaft runout.
- Maximum runout:
- 0.8 mm (0.031 in.)
If the shaft runout is more than the maximum, replace the shaft.

Place matchmarks on the propeller shaft and sleeve yoke.

Remove the 3 bolts and screw.

Front Drive Shaft Assembly - Installation
Coat the lip of the differential oil seal with MP grease.
Front Drive Shaft Assembly - Reassembly
Using SST, a steel plate and press, press in a new front drive shaft dust cover LH.
Front Drive Shaft Assembly - Inspection
Check if there is excessive play in the outboard joint.
Front Drive Shaft Assembly - Disassembly
Using a screwdriver, remove the snap ring from the inboard joint shaft.
Front Drive Shaft Assembly - Removal
Remove the 3 bolts and screw.
