Side Moulding (For Front Side) -- Reassembly |
- HINT:
- Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
- The procedure listed below is for the LH side.
| 1. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD |
- HINT:
- When installing the front No. 1 wheel opening extension pad, heat the front wheel opening extension using a heat light.
- Standard:
Item Temperature Front Wheel Opening Extension 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)
- NOTICE:
- Do not heat the front wheel opening extension excessively.
Clean the front wheel opening extension surface.
Using a heat light, heat the front wheel opening extension surface.
Remove the double-sided tape from the front wheel opening extension.
Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.
Install a new front No. 1 wheel opening extension pad.
Remove the peeling paper from the face of a new front No. 1 wheel opening extension pad.
- HINT:
- After removing the peeling paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.
Install the front No. 1 wheel opening extension pad.
