  1. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD

  2. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD

Side Moulding (For Front Side) -- Reassembly


HINT:
  1. Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
  2. The procedure listed below is for the LH side.


1. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD
HINT:
When installing the front No. 1 wheel opening extension pad, heat the front wheel opening extension using a heat light.
Standard:

Front Wheel Opening Extension
20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)
NOTICE:
Do not heat the front wheel opening extension excessively.
  1. Clean the front wheel opening extension surface.

    1. Using a heat light, heat the front wheel opening extension surface.

    2. Remove the double-sided tape from the front wheel opening extension.

    3. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

  1. Install a new front No. 1 wheel opening extension pad.

    1. Remove the peeling paper from the face of a new front No. 1 wheel opening extension pad.

      HINT:
      After removing the peeling paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.
    2. Install the front No. 1 wheel opening extension pad.



2. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD
HINT:
When installing the front No. 1 wheel opening extension pad, heat the front wheel opening extension using a heat light.
