Radio Antenna Cord Removal


  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  2. REMOVE UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

  3. REMOVE ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

  4. REMOVE ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

Radio Antenna Cord -- Removal



1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Toyota Fortuner RM000004W63000X.html).


2. REMOVE UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY
  1. Remove the upper instrument panel sub-assembly (Toyota Fortuner RM000000SQC01BX.html).



3. REMOVE ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY (for LHD)


  1. Disconnect the connector.


    Toyota Fortuner. Ggn50, 60 Kun51, 61 Tgn51 Lan50.Audio Visual.Radio Antenna Cord.Radio Antenna Cord  Removal

  1. Detach the 6 clamps shown in the illustration.

  1. Remove the clamp bolt and antenna cord.



4. REMOVE ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RHD)


  1. Disconnect the connector.

  1. Detach the 4 clamps shown in the illustration.

  1. Remove the clamp bolt and antenna cord.
