  2. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK SPRING ASSEMBLY (w/o Front Seat Side Airbag)

  3. INSTALL FRONT NO. 2 SEAT WIRE RH

  4. INSTALL FRONT SEAT WIRE RH

  5. INSTALL FRONT LOWER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

  6. INSTALL FRONT LOWER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH

  7. INSTALL FRONT POWER SEAT MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Rear Lifter)

  8. INSTALL FRONT POWER SEAT MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Slide)

  9. INSTALL FRONT POWER SEAT MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Reclining)

  10. INSTALL UPPER RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

  11. INSTALL LOWER RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

  12. INSTALL UPPER RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

Front Seat Assembly (For Power Seat) -- Reassembly



1. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SPRING ASSEMBLY (w/ Front Seat Side Airbag)


    Toyota Fortuner. Ggn50, 60 Kun51, 61 Tgn51 Lan50

  1. Install the seat cushion spring with the 4 bolts.

    Torque:
    42 N*m{428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf}

  1. Attach the claw and wire harness clamps.



2. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK SPRING ASSEMBLY (w/o Front Seat Side Airbag)


    Toyota Fortuner. Ggn50, 60 Kun51, 61 Tgn51 Lan50

  1. Install the seatback spring with the 4 bolts.

    Torque:
    42 N*m{428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf}


3. INSTALL FRONT NO. 2 SEAT WIRE RH


    Toyota Fortuner. Ggn50, 60 Kun51, 61 Tgn51 Lan50

  1. Attach the 2 wire harness clamps to install the seat wire.



4. INSTALL FRONT SEAT WIRE RH


    Toyota Fortuner. Ggn50, 60 Kun51, 61 Tgn51 Lan50

  1. Attach the 2 claws to install the seat wire.

  1. Attach the wire harness clamp.

  1. Connect the connector.



5. INSTALL FRONT LOWER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

  1. Attach the 4 claws to install the lower seat cushion shield.

  1. Install the screw.



6. INSTALL FRONT LOWER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH

  1. Attach the 4 claws to install the lower seat cushion shield.

  1. Install the screw.



7. INSTALL FRONT POWER SEAT MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Rear Lifter)

  1. Install the power seat motor (Toyota Fortuner RM000003O2F00AX_01_0001.html).



8. INSTALL FRONT POWER SEAT MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Slide)

  1. Install the power seat motor (Toyota Fortuner RM000003O00009X_01_0001.html).



9. INSTALL FRONT POWER SEAT MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Reclining)

  1. Install the power seat motor (Toyota Fortuner RM000003O2B009X_01_0001.html).



10. INSTALL UPPER RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

  1. Attach the guide to install the reclining adjuster inside cover.

  1. Install the screw.



11. INSTALL LOWER RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

  1. Attach the claw to install the reclining adjuster inside cover.

  1. Install the screw.



12. INSTALL UPPER RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

  1. Attach the guide to install the reclining adjuster inside cover.

  1. Install the screw.



13. INSTALL LOWER RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

  1. Attach the claw to install the reclining adjuster inside cover.

  1. Install the screw.



14. INSTALL NO. 1 SEATBACK CLOTH

  1. Install the seatback cloth.



15. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK PAD


    Toyota Fortuner. Ggn50, 60 Kun51, 61 Tgn51 Lan50

  1. Install the seatback pad.



16. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

  1. Using hog ring pliers, attach the strap of the seatback cover to the seatback pad with new hog rings.

    NOTICE:
    1. Be careful not to damage the cover.
    2. When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

  1. Attach the 4 claws to install the 2 headrest supports.

  1. Using hog ring pliers, install the upper part of the seatback cover to the seatback pad with new hog rings.

    NOTICE:
    1. Be careful not to damage the cover.
    2. When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

  1. Using hog ring pliers, install the center of the seatback cover to the seatback pad with new hog rings.

    NOTICE:
    1. Be careful not to damage the cover.
    2. When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

  1. w/ Front Seat Side Airbag:

    Torque:
    5.5 N*m{56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf}
    Attach the front seatback cover bracket and install the nut.

  1. Using hog ring pliers, attach the strap of the seatback cover to the seatback frame with new hog rings.

    NOTICE:
    1. Be careful not to damage the cover.
    2. When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

  1. Using hog ring pliers, attach the bottom of the seatback cloth to the seatback frame with new hog rings.

  1. Using hog ring pliers, attach the wires at the bottom of the seatback cover with new hog rings.

    NOTICE:
    1. Be careful not to damage the cover.
    2. When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.


17. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER


    Toyota Fortuner. Ggn50, 60 Kun51, 61 Tgn51 Lan50

  1. Using hog ring pliers, install the seat cushion cover to the seat cushion pad with new hog rings.

    NOTICE:
    1. Be careful not to damage the cover.
    2. When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.


18. INSTALL SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD


  1. Attach the hooks to install the seat cushion cover with pad.

  1. Using hog ring pliers, attach the rubber bands of the seatback cover to the seat frame with new hog rings.

    NOTICE:
    1. Be careful not to damage the cover.
    2. When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.


19. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER RH

  1. Install the seat cushion cover.



20. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH

  1. Install the buckle cover.

  1. Install the front seat inner belt assembly with the nut.

    Torque:
    42 N*m{428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf}
    NOTICE:
    Do not allow the anchor part of the front seat inner belt assembly to overlap the protruding part of the front seat adjuster.

  1. Connect the connector and attach the 3 clamps.



21. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION INNER SHIELD RH


  1. Pass the wire harness of the front seat inner belt assembly below the claw and into the front seat cushion inner shield.

  1. Attach the claw to temporarily install the cushion inner shield.

    NOTICE:
    Make sure that the wire harness of the front seat inner belt assembly is not being pinched inside the front seat cushion inner shield.

  1. Attach the guide and claw.

    NOTICE:
    Make sure that the wire harness of the front seat inner belt assembly is not being pinched inside the front seat cushion inner shield.

  1. Install the screw to the cushion inner shield.



22. INSTALL FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH


    Toyota Fortuner. Ggn50, 60 Kun51, 61 Tgn51 Lan50

  1. Connect the connector.

  1. Install the switch with the 3 screws.



23. INSTALL FRONT INNER NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION SHIELD


    Toyota Fortuner. Ggn50, 60 Kun51, 61 Tgn51 Lan50

  1. Attach the 2 claws to install the cushion shield.

  1. Install the 2 screws.



24. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH WITH FRONT INNER NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

  1. Attach the claw and guide to install the cushion shield.

  1. Install the 3 screws.

25. INSTALL SLIDE & VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

  1. Attach the 4 claws to install the knob.



26. INSTALL RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

  1. Attach the 2 claws to install the knob.
