DESCRIPTION

The skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) receives signals from the yaw rate sensor assembly via the CAN communication system.
The yaw rate sensor assembly has a built-in acceleration sensor.
If there is trouble in the bus lines between the yaw rate sensor assembly and the CAN communication system, DTCs U0123 (Lost Communication with Yaw Rate Sensor Module) and U0124 (Lost Communication with Lateral Acceleration Sensor Module) are stored.
DTC C1419 and C1435 are also stored when calibration is not completed.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
After replacing the yaw rate sensor assembly, perform calibration (Toyota Fortuner RM000000XHR06WX.html).
HINT:
When DTC U0123 and/or U0124 is output together with DTC C1419 and/or C1435, inspect and repair the trouble areas indicated by DTC U0123 and/or U0124 first (Toyota Fortuner RM000000YUO0DYX.html).
1.REPLACE YAW RATE SENSOR ASSEMBLY

  1. Replace the yaw rate sensor assembly (Toyota Fortuner RM000000SS5045X.html).
