Vacuum Switching Valve Installation


  1. INSTALL VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE (for EGR Cut)

  2. INSTALL VACUUM TRANSMITTING HOSE ASSEMBLY

  3. INSTALL NO. 2 VACUUM TRANSMITTING HOSE ASSEMBLY

  4. INSTALL MANIFOLD STAY WITH VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE

Vacuum Switching Valve -- Installation



1. INSTALL VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE (for EGR Cut)

  1. Install the vacuum switching valve to the manifold stay with the screw.

    Torque:
    3.5 N*m{36 kgf*cm, 31 in.*lbf}


2. INSTALL VACUUM TRANSMITTING HOSE ASSEMBLY

  1. Install the vacuum transmitting hose shown in the illustration.

3. INSTALL NO. 2 VACUUM TRANSMITTING HOSE ASSEMBLY

  1. Install the No. 2 vacuum transmitting hose to the vacuum switching valve shown in the illustration.

4. INSTALL MANIFOLD STAY WITH VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE


    Toyota Fortuner. Ggn50, 60 Kun51, 61 Tgn51 Lan50

  1. Install the manifold stay with vacuum switching valve with the 2 bolts and connect the vacuum transmitting hose.

    Torque:
    19 N*m{194 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf}
    NOTICE:
    Be sure to securely connect the vacuum transmitting hose.

  1. Connect the 2 vacuum transmitting hoses.

    NOTICE:
    1. Be sure to securely connect the vacuum transmitting hoses.
    2. Make sure the vacuum transmitting hoses' color matches the connection areas' color.
