Condenser (For 1Gr-Fe) -- Removal |
1. DISCHARGE REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM |
2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL |
- CAUTION:
- Wait at least 90 second after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
3. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER |
4. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT |
Remove the 4 nuts and reinforcement.

5. DISCONNECT NO. 1 COOLER REFRIGERANT DISCHARGE HOSE |
Remove the bolt and disconnect the discharge hose from the cooler condenser.

Remove the O-ring from the discharge hose.
- NOTICE:
- Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent moisture and foreign matter from entering them.
6. DISCONNECT AIR CONDITIONING TUBE & ACCESSORY ASSEMBLY |
Remove the bolt and disconnect the A/C tube from the cooler condenser.

Remove the O-ring from the A/C tube.
- NOTICE:
- Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent moisture and foreign matter from entering them.
7. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY |
Remove the 3 bolts and hood lock.

8. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT UPPER |
Remove the 6 bolts and radiator support.

9. REMOVE COOLER CONDENSER ASSEMBLY |
Remove the cooler condenser.
