1. INSPECT COOLER COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY

  1. Check the operation.

    1. Start the engine.

    2. Inspect the compressor pulley.

      OK:
      Compressor shaft rotates along with pulley.


  1. Inspect the cooler compressor.

    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Apply battery voltage to the clutch and check operation of the clutch.

      OK:
      Measurement Condition
      		Specified Condition
      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1 Battery negative (-) → Body ground
      		Magnet clutch is engaged
      If the result is not as specified, replace the compressor.
