Exhaust Pipe -- Removal |
- CAUTION:
- Wear protective gloves when removing the exhaust pipe assembly.
- The exhaust pipe assembly is extremely hot immediately after the engine has stopped.
- Confirm that the exhaust pipe assembly has cooled down before removing it.
1. REMOVE TAILPIPE ASSEMBLY |
Remove the 2 bolts and 2 nuts.
Disconnect the tailpipe from the center exhaust pipe and remove the gasket.
Remove the tailpipe from the pipe support.
2. REMOVE CENTER EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY |
Remove the 2 bolts and 2 nuts.
Disconnect the center exhaust pipe from the front No. 2 exhaust pipe and remove the gasket.
Remove the center exhaust pipe from the 3 pipe supports.
3. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 EXHAUST PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY |
Remove the 2 bolts and 2 compression springs.
Disconnect the front No. 2 exhaust pipe from the front exhaust pipe and remove the gasket.
Remove the front No. 2 exhaust pipe from the pipe support.
4. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY |
Remove the 2 bolts from the transmission.
Remove the 5 clips and front fender seal LH.
Remove the 3 nuts from the exhaust manifold.
Disconnect the front exhaust pipe from the exhaust manifold and remove the gasket.
Remove the bolt, clamp and pipe support from the front exhaust pipe.
