Radiator Grille Reassembly


  1. INSTALL NO. 1 RADIATOR GRILLE SEAL

  2. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE FINISH PLATE

  3. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE NAME PLATE (for 1GR-FE)

  4. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE EMBLEM

Radiator Grille -- Reassembly


NOTICE:
When installing the seal, heat the radiator grille and seal using a heat light.
Standard heating temperature:
Item
Specified Condition
Radiator grille, seal
20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)
NOTICE:
Do not heat the radiator grille and seal excessively.


1. INSTALL NO. 1 RADIATOR GRILLE SEAL

  1. Clean the radiator grille surface.

    1. Using a heat light, heat the radiator grille surface.

    2. Remove the double-sided tape from the radiator grille.

    3. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with white gasoline.

  1. Install a new seal.

    1. Using a heat light, heat the radiator grille and seal.

    2. Remove the peeling paper from the face of the seal.

      HINT:
      After removing the peeling paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

    3. Install the seal to the radiator grille.



2. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE FINISH PLATE

  1. Install the finish plate with the 7 screws.



3. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE NAME PLATE (for 1GR-FE)


    Toyota Fortuner. Ggn50, 60 Kun51, 61 Tgn51 Lan50

  1. Attach the claws and install the name plate with the spring nut.

  1. Install the screw.



4. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE EMBLEM

  1. Attach the 3 claws to install the emblem.
