Radiator Grille Disassembly


  1. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE EMBLEM

  2. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE NAME PLATE (for 1GR-FE)

  3. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE FINISH PLATE

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIATOR GRILLE SEAL

Radiator Grille -- Disassembly



1. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE EMBLEM

  1. Using a screwdriver, detach the 3 claws and remove the emblem from the radiator grille.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.


2. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE NAME PLATE (for 1GR-FE)

  1. Remove the screw.

  1. Using a screwdriver, remove the spring nut and detach the claws. Then remove the name plate.



3. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE FINISH PLATE

  1. Remove the 7 screws and finish plate.



4. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIATOR GRILLE SEAL

  1. Using a heat light, heat the grille and seal.

    Standard heating temperature:
    Item
    		Specified Condition
    Radiator grille, seal
    		20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)
    NOTICE:
    Do not heat the radiator grille and seal excessively.

  1. Pull off the seal by cutting the double-sided tape with a knife.

    NOTICE:
    1. Be careful not to damage the radiator grille.
    2. The seal cannot be reused.
