Theft Deterrent System -- System Description |
- The theft deterrent system uses the door lock control system and wireless door lock system. The theft deterrent system will activate when it detects that: 1) someone has attempted to forcibly enter the vehicle, 2) someone has opened the engine hood, 3) the vehicle has sustained an excessive amount of physical shock, or 4) the battery cables have been disconnected and reconnected.
- The shock sensing triggering sensor is built into the theft warning ECU.
- The theft warning ECU controls this system.
