Rear Blower Motor -- Removal |
| 1. DISCHARGE REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM |
| 2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL |
- CAUTION:
- Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
| 3. REMOVE QUARTER INSIDE TRIM BOARD RH |
| 4. REMOVE QUARTER PILLAR GARNISH RH |
| 5. REMOVE NO. 1 COOLER AIR DUCT |
Disconnect the connectors and detach the 3 clamps.
 |
Remove the 2 clips.
Release the 3 claws fittings, and remove the cooler air duct.
| 6. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PLATE |
| 7. REMOVE QUARTER VENT DUCT RH |
Detach the 5 claws and remove the duct.
 |
| 8. REMOVE NO. 1 COOLER COVER |
Remove the packing.
 |
Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the cooler cover.
 |
| 9. DISCONNECT NO. 1 AIR CONDITIONING TUBE & ACCESSORY ASSEMBLY |
Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the tube.
 |
Remove the 2 O-rings from the tube.
| 10. REMOVE COOLING (REAR) UNIT ASSEMBLY |
Remove the 3 bolts and cooling unit.
 |
| 11. REMOVE BLOWER MOTOR |
Remove the 3 screws and cover.
 |
Remove the 9 screws.
 |
Detach the 3 claws and remove the cooling unit cover.
Remove the nut and fan.
 |
Remove the screw and blower motor.
 |
