Rear Bumper Installation

Attach the 4 claws to install the side retainer.

Install the 2 screws.

Clean the vehicle body surface.

1. Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body surface.
   

2. Remove the double-sided tape from the vehicle body.
   

3. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with white gasoline.
   

If reusing extension:
Clean the extension.

1. Using a heat light, heat the extension.
   

2. Remove the double-sided tape from the extension.
   

3. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with white gasoline.
   





4. Apply new double-sided tape to the extension, as shown in the illustration.
   

Install the extension.

1. Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body and extension.
   

2. Remove the peeling paper from the face of the extension.
   

   HINT:

   After removing the peeling paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from dirt and other contaminants.

3. Attach the 6 clips to install the extension and firmly press on the extension.
   

   NOTICE:

   Do not apply excessive force onto the extension. Apply steady pressure with your thumbs.

Install the 2 screws.

Attach the 3 clips to install the mudguard support.

Attach the 3 clips to install the mudguard support.

Install the step frame with the 6 bolts.

Torque:

18 N*m{184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf}

Install the extension with the bolt.

Torque:

18 N*m{184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf}

Install the reflector with the washer and nut.

Install the reflector with the washer and nut.

Put protective tape under the quarter panel.

Attach the 12 claws to install the bumper cover.

Install the 6 screws and 5 clips.

Install the mudguard with the 6 screws.
