DESCRIPTION

If the rear RH side manual up/down function does not operate, a malfunction may be present in the rear door window regulator sub-assembly RH, rear power window regulator switch assembly RH, power window regulator master switch assembly or wire harness.

NOTICE:
Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

  1. Disconnect the P13 rear power window regulator switch assembly RH connector.

  1. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard Voltage:
    Tester Connection
    		Switch Condition
    		Specified Condition
    P13-3 (B) - Body ground
    		Ignition switch ON
    		11 to 14 V
    Ignition switch off
    		Below 1 V

  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard Resistance:
    Tester Connection

    5 (D) - 4 (SD)
    2 (U) - 3 (B)
    		UP
    		Below 1 Ω
    5 (D) - 4 (SD)
    2 (U) - 1 (SU)
    		OFF

    		DOWN
    		Below 1 Ω

  1. Disconnect the P13 rear power window regulator switch assembly RH connector.

  1. Disconnect the P10 rear door window regulator sub-assembly RH connector.

  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard Resistance:
    Tester Connection
    		Condition
    		Specified Condition
    P13-5 (D) - P10-1
    		Always
    		Below 1 Ω
    P13-2 (U) - P10-2
    		Always
    		Below 1 Ω
    P13-5 (D) or P10-1 - Body ground

4.INSPECT REAR DOOR WINDOW REGULATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY RH


    Toyota Fortuner. Ggn50, 60 Kun51, 61 Tgn51 Lan50

  1. Remove the rear door window regulator sub-assembly RH (Toyota Fortuner RM000004RWE00SX.html).

  1. Apply battery voltage to connector terminals 1 and 2.

  1. Check that the motor gear rotates smoothly as follows.

    OK:
    Measurement Condition
    		Specified Condition
    Battery positive (+) → 2
    Battery negative (-) → 1
    		Arm of window regulator rotates counterclockwise (Up)
    Battery positive (+) → 1
    Battery negative (-) → 2
    		Arm of window regulator rotates clockwise (Down)

  1. Disconnect the P13 rear power window regulator switch assembly RH connector.

  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
