Outer Rear View Mirror Installation


  1. INSTALL OUTER MIRROR COVER LH

  2. INSTALL OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY LH

  3. INSTALL FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  4. INSTALL FRONT DOOR LOWER FRAME BRACKET GARNISH LH

Outer Rear View Mirror -- Installation


HINT:
  1. Use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side.
  2. The procedures listed below are for the LH side.


1. INSTALL OUTER MIRROR COVER LH

  1. Install the mirror cover as shown in the illustration.

  1. After installing the outer mirror cover, check that there is no gap between the cover and mirror body.

    HINT:
    If there is a gap between the cover and body, noise will occur during driving.

  1. Install the mirror as shown in the illustration.



2. INSTALL OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY LH

  1. Install the mirror with the 3 nuts.

    Torque:
    8.0 N*m{82 kgf*cm, 71 ft.*lbf}

  1. Connect the connector labeled A.



3. INSTALL FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  1. Attach the 7 claws to install the weatherstrip inner.

  1. Install the trim board.

    1. Attach the 8 clips to install the trim board.

  1. Install the screw and clip.



4. INSTALL FRONT DOOR LOWER FRAME BRACKET GARNISH LH

  1. Attach the 2 clips to install the garnish.
