Integration Relay On-Vehicle Inspection
DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
REMOVE ENGINE ROOM RELAY BLOCK COVER
CHECK INTEGRATION NO.1 RELAY
INSTALL ENGINE ROOM RELAY BLOCK COVER
CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Integration Relay -- On-Vehicle Inspection |
1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL |
- CAUTION:
- Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag activation.
2. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM RELAY BLOCK COVER |
3. CHECK INTEGRATION NO.1 RELAY |
Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and disconnect the integration relay from the engine room junction block.
- HINT:
- Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
Measure the voltage of the MAIN relay.
- Standard resistance:
Tester Connection

1J-4 - Body ground
| Ignition switch ON
| 10 to 14 V
|
If the result is not as specified, replace the integration relay.
Measure the voltage of the C/OPN relay.

If the result is not as specified, replace the integration relay.
4. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM RELAY BLOCK COVER |
5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL |
