  1. Check that the light operates properly.

    OK:
    Tester Connection
    		Switch Condition
    		Specified Condition
    Battery positive (+) → 2
    Battery negative (-) → 1
    		DOOR
    		Light comes on
    Battery positive (+) → 2
    Battery negative (-) → 1
    		OFF
    		Light does not come on
    Battery positive (+) → 2
    Battery negative (-) → Switch body (Light ground)
    		ON
    		Light comes on
    If the result is not as specified, replace the light assembly.


2. INSPECT NO. 2 ROOM LIGHT ASSEMBLY

  1. Check that the light operates properly.

    OK:
    Tester Connection
    		Switch Condition
    		Specified Condition
    Battery positive (+) → 2
    Battery negative (-) → 1
    		DOOR
    		Light comes on
    Battery positive (+) → 2
    Battery negative (-) → 1
    		OFF
    		Light does not come on
    Battery positive (+) → 2
    Battery negative (-) → Switch body (Light ground)
    		ON
    		Light comes on
    If the result is not as specified, replace the light assembly.
