Venturi Removal


  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER HOSE

  3. REMOVE INTAKE PIPE ASSEMBLY

  4. REMOVE INTAKE FLANGE

  5. REMOVE VENTURI ASSEMBLY

Venturi -- Removal



1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag activation.


2. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER HOSE
  1. Disconnect the intake air temperature sensor connector.

  1. Detach the clamp of the intake air temperature sensor harness.

  1. Loosen the 2 clamps from the air cleaner hose.

  1. Remove the air cleaner hose.



3. REMOVE INTAKE PIPE ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the 2 bolts and loosen the hose clamp.



4. REMOVE INTAKE FLANGE

  1. Remove the bolt and clamp of the heater hose.

  1. Disconnect the manifold absolute pressure sensor connector.

  1. Loosen the clamp and then disconnect the ventilation hose.

  1. Remove the 3 nuts, intake flange and gasket.



5. REMOVE VENTURI ASSEMBLY

  1. Disconnect the throttle open switch connector.



    Toyota Fortuner. Ggn50, 60 Kun51, 61 Tgn51 Lan50.5L-E Engine Control System.Venturi.Venturi  Removal
  1. Disconnect the throttle control motor connector.

  1. Remove the venturi and gasket.
