Air Conditioning Unit (For Automatic Air Conditioning System) Disassembly


  1. REMOVE BLOWER ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE AIR MIX DAMPER SERVO SUB-ASSEMBLY

  3. REMOVE MODE DAMPER SERVO SUB-ASSEMBLY

  4. REMOVE HEATER RADIATOR UNIT SUB-ASSEMBLY

  5. REMOVE COOLER EXPANSION VALVE

  6. REMOVE NO. 1 COOLER EVAPORATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY

  7. REMOVE EVAPORATOR TEMPERATURE SENSOR

Air Conditioning Unit (For Automatic Air Conditioning System) -- Disassembly



1. REMOVE BLOWER ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the 2 screws.

  1. Detach the blower unit from the air conditioner radiator assembly.



2. REMOVE AIR MIX DAMPER SERVO SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the 3 screws and damper servo.



3. REMOVE MODE DAMPER SERVO SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the 3 screws and damper servo.



4. REMOVE HEATER RADIATOR UNIT SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the screw and heater radiator.



5. REMOVE COOLER EXPANSION VALVE


    Toyota Fortuner. Ggn50, 60 Kun51, 61 Tgn51 Lan50
  1. Using a 4 mm socket hexagon wrench, remove the 2 hexagon bolts.

  1. Remove the cooler expansion valve and 2 O-rings from the cooler evaporator.



6. REMOVE NO. 1 COOLER EVAPORATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY


    Toyota Fortuner. Ggn50, 60 Kun51, 61 Tgn51 Lan50
  1. Remove the 4 screws.

  1. Detach the 2 claws and remove the cover.

  1. Detach the temperature sensor clamp.

  1. Remove the temperature sensor and cooler evaporator from the case.



7. REMOVE EVAPORATOR TEMPERATURE SENSOR


    Toyota Fortuner. Ggn50, 60 Kun51, 61 Tgn51 Lan50
  1. Disconnect the temperature sensor clamp from the cooler evaporator and remove the temperature sensor.
