Front Seat Inner Belt Assembly (For Power Seat) -- Installation |
- HINT:
- Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
- The procedures listed below are for the LH side.
- A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart (Toyota Fortuner RM00000118W017X.html).
| 1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side) |

w/ Passenger Seat Belt Warning Light:
Attach the 2 clamps as shown in the illustration.
w/ Passenger Seat Belt Warning Light:
Connect the connector.
Install the buckle cover on the inner belt.
 |
w/ Passenger Seat Belt Warning Light:
Attach the wire harness to the clamp.
 |
Install the seat belt with the nut.
- Torque:
- 42 N*m{428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf}
- NOTICE:
- Do not overlap the anchor part of the seat belt and protruding part of the seat adjuster.
| 2. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side) |

Install the buckle cover.
Install the front seat inner belt assembly with the nut.
- Torque:
- 42 N*m{428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf}
- NOTICE:
- Do not allow the anchor part of the front seat inner belt assembly to overlap the protruding part of the front seat adjuster.
Connect the connector and attach the 3 clamps.
| 3. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side) |
Install the front seat (Toyota Fortuner RM000003NZV009X.html).
| 4. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side) |
Install the front seat (Toyota Fortuner RM000000Z8T004X.html).
| 5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL |
- NOTICE:
- When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Toyota Fortuner RM000002HD2005X.html).
