CHECK WIRE HARNESS (MASTER SWITCH - REAR SWITCH LH)

CHECK WIRE HARNESS (MASTER SWITCH - REAR SWITCH RH)

POWER WINDOW CONTROL SYSTEM (w/ Jam Protection Function) - Remote Up / Down Function does not Operate


DESCRIPTION

With the ignition switch ON, the power window regulator master switch transmits remote switch signals to the regulator switches of the front passenger door power window and rear door power windows. Then, each regulator switch drives its respective power window regulator motor.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

  1. Turn the window lock switch OFF and operate the switches on the master switch. Check that the remote UP / DOWN function operates normally.

    OK:
    Remote UP / DOWN function operates normally.

2.CHECK MANUAL UP / DOWN FUNCTION
  1. Check that the front passenger door power window and rear door power window manual UP / DOWN function operates normally.

    OK:
    Manual UP / DOWN function operates normally.

3.CHECK WIRE HARNESS (MASTER SWITCH - FRONT PASSENGER SIDE SWITCH)

  1. Disconnect the P6 master switch connector.

  1. Disconnect the P11 switch connector.

  1. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

Standard resistance:

P6-15 (D) - P11-4
Below 1 Ω
P6-13 (U) or P11-1 Body ground
