  1. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE LH

  2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

  3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

  4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER LH

  5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION INNER SHIELD LH

  6. REMOVE SEATBACK SPRING

  7. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

  8. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION PROTECTOR

  9. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

  10. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

  11. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK PAD

  12. REMOVE NO. 1 SEATBACK CLOTH

  13. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY

  14. REMOVE SEAT TRACK HANDLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  15. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER LOWER ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  16. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER LOWER ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

  17. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR LH

Front Seat Assembly (W/ Front Seat Side Airbag) -- Disassembly


CAUTION:
Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.


1. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE LH

  1. Raise the reclining adjuster release handle to reveal the claw. Using a screwdriver, detach the claw and remove the release handle.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.


2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

  1. Remove the 2 screws.

  1. Detach the rear part of the cushion shield in the order indicated in the illustration, and then detach the claw and remove the cushion shield.

  1. w/ Passenger Seat Belt Warning Light:

    1. Detach the 2 clamps.

    2. Disconnect the connector.

    3. Detach the wire harness from the clamp.

    4. Remove the nut and seat belt.

    5. Remove the buckle cover.

  1. w/o Passenger Seat Belt Warning Light:

    1. Remove the nut and seat belt.

    2. Remove the buckle cover.



4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER LH

  1. Remove the seat cushion cover.



5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION INNER SHIELD LH

  1. Remove the 2 screws. Then remove the inner shield in the order indicated in the illustration.



6. REMOVE SEATBACK SPRING

  1. Remove the seatback spring.



7. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

  1. Detach the wire harness clamp.

  1. Detach the 2 hooks.

  1. Detach the hooks in the hook area shown in the illustration.

  1. Remove the hog rings and seat cushion cover with pad from the seat cushion frame.



8. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION PROTECTOR

  1. Remove the 2 protectors.



9. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

  1. Remove the hog rings and seat cushion cover.



10. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

  1. Remove the hog rings from the wires of the seatback cover. Then roll up the seatback cover.

  1. Remove the hog rings and roll up the seatback cloth.

  1. Remove the hog rings and detach the strap of the seatback cover. Then roll up the seatback cover.

  1. Remove the hog rings from the center of the seatback pad and roll up the seatback cover.

  1. Remove the nut and detach the seatback cover bracket.

  1. Remove the hog rings from the upper part of the seatback pad. Then roll up the seatback cover.

  1. Detach the 4 claws and remove the 2 headrest supports.

  1. Remove the hog rings and seatback cover.



11. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK PAD

  1. Remove the seatback pad.



12. REMOVE NO. 1 SEATBACK CLOTH

  1. Remove the seatback cloth.



13. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Detach the wire harness clamps.

    NOTICE:
    Be careful not to damage the airbag wire harness or connector.

  1. Remove the 4 bolts and seat cushion frame.



14. REMOVE SEAT TRACK HANDLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Detach the spring of the seat track in the order indicated in the illustration. Then remove the handle.



15. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER LOWER ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  1. Remove the 2 bolts and reclining adjuster lower arm with front seat outer track assembly.

  1. Remove the 3 bolts and reclining adjuster lower arm.



16. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER LOWER ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

Use the same procedures described for the LH side.


17. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR LH

  1. Remove the seat cushion edge protector.
