1. REMOVE DRIVE BELT


    Toyota Fortuner. Ggn50, 60 Kun51, 61 Tgn51 Lan50.2Tr-Fe Engine Mechanical.Drive Belt.Drive Belt Removal

  1. Use the hexagon-shaped part indicated by the arrow in the illustration to move the tensioner pulley downward and decrease the tension in the drive belt. Then remove the drive belt.

    NOTICE:
    When removing the drive belt, do not use the idle pulley's bolt.
    HINT:
    After removing the drive belt, move the tensioner upward to the maximum position.


2. REMOVE TENSIONER PULLEY
NOTICE:
Perform the following procedure when it is necessary to replace the tensioner pulley.

  1. Remove the oil dipstick.

  1. Remove the bolt, dipstick guide and O-ring.

    HINT:
    Cover the dipstick guide hole to prevent foreign matter from entering it.

  1. Remove the bolt, dust seal, tensioner pulley and nut.

    NOTICE:
    Do not drop the nut.
