Accelerator Pedal Rod Removal


  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  2. REMOVE ACCELERATOR PEDAL ROD

Accelerator Pedal Rod -- Removal



1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag activation.


2. REMOVE ACCELERATOR PEDAL ROD


    Toyota Fortuner. Ggn50, 60 Kun51, 61 Tgn51 Lan50.2Tr-Fe Engine Control System.Accelerator Pedal Rod.Accelerator Pedal Rod Removal

  1. Disconnect the accelerator pedal position sensor connector.

  1. Remove the 2 bolts and accelerator pedal rod.

    NOTICE:
    1. Do not drop or strike the accelerator pedal rod.
    2. Do not disassemble the accelerator pedal rod.
