Starter Installation


  1. INSTALL STARTER ASSEMBLY

  2. CONNECT CLUTCH RELEASE CYLINDER ASSEMBLY

  3. INSTALL FRONT FENDER SEAL

  4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

Starter -- Installation



1. INSTALL STARTER ASSEMBLY


    Toyota Fortuner. Ggn50, 60 Kun51, 61 Tgn51 Lan50.2Tr-Fe Starting.Starter.Starter Installation

  1. Install the starter with the 2 bolts.

    Torque:
    37 N*m{377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf}

  1. Install the starter wire to terminal 30 with the nut.

    Torque:
    9.8 N*m{100 kgf*cm, 87 in.*lbf}

  1. Attach the terminal cap.

  1. Connect the starter connector.



2. CONNECT CLUTCH RELEASE CYLINDER ASSEMBLY

  1. Connect the release cylinder with the 2 bolts.

    Torque:
    12 N*m{120 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf}


3. INSTALL FRONT FENDER SEAL

  1. Install the seal with the 5 clips.



4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Toyota Fortuner RM000002HD2000X.html).
