FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat) - DISASSEMBLY
- CAUTION:
- Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.
- HINT:
| 1. REMOVE SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB |
Apply protective tape as shown in the illustration.

Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the slide and vertical power seat switch knob.
- HINT:
- Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
| 2. REMOVE RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB |
Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the reclining power seat switch knob.

- Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
| 3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH |
Remove the 2 screws.
Disconnect the 2 rubber bands.
Remove the 3 screws.
Detach the 2 claws and remove the front seat cushion shield LH together with the front inner No. 1 seat cushion shield LH.
for Driver Side:
Disconnect the connector.
| 4. REMOVE FRONT INNER NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH |
Remove the screw.
Detach the claw and remove the front inner No. 1 seat cushion shield LH from the front seat cushion shield LH.
| 5. REMOVE LUMBAR SWITCH (for Driver Side) |
Remove the 2 screws and lumbar switch from the front seat cushion shield LH.
| 6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH |
Disconnect the connectors and detach the clamps.
Remove the nut and front seat inner belt assembly.
Remove the front seat belt anchor plate.
| 7. REMOVE FRONT INNER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH |
Remove the screw.
Detach the 2 claws and clip, and then remove the front inner seat cushion shield LH.
| 8. REMOVE FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH LH |
w/ Seat Position Memory System:
Disconnect the 2 connectors.
w/o Seat Position Memory System:
Disconnect the connector.
Remove the 3 screws and front power seat switch LH.
| 9. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD |
Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.
w/o Climate Control Seat System:
Disconnect the connector and detach the 2 wire harness clamps.
Disconnect the connector and detach the wire harness clamp.
w/ Climate Control Seat System:
Disconnect the 2 connectors and detach the 4 wire harness clamps.
Detach the wire harness clamp.
for Front Passenger Side:
Disconnect the connector.
Detach the 2 clamps and remove the connector holder.
Bend the 2 seat frame claws upward.
Detach the hooks and remove the seat cushion cover with pad.
| 10. REMOVE FRONT SEPARATE TYPE SEAT CUSHION COVER |
Remove the hog rings and front separate type seat cushion cover from the front separate type seat cushion pad.
| 11. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Seat Heater System) |
w/o Climate Control Seat System:
Cut off the tack pins and remove the front seat cushion heater assembly LH from the front separate type seat cushion cover.
w/ Climate Control Seat System:
Cut off the tack pins and remove the front seat cushion heater assembly LH from the front separate type seat cushion cover.
| 12. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH |
Remove the 2 screws.
Move the front seatback board sub-assembly LH in the direction of the arrow to detach the 2 hooks and remove it.
| 13. REMOVE SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL CONTROLLER LH (w/ Climate Control Seat System, for Seatback) |
Detach the 2 claws and disconnect the seat climate control blower LH.
Detach the 4 hooks and remove the seat climate control controller LH.
| 14. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT |
Detach the 4 claws and remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.
| 15. REMOVE SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD |
Remove the hog rings.

Remove the nut and detach the seatback cover bracket.

Detach the hooks and remove the seatback cover with pad.
| 16. REMOVE FRONT SEPARATE TYPE SEATBACK COVER |
Pass the seatback cover bracket through the hole of the front separate type seatback pad.

Remove the hog rings.
Detach the fastening tape and remove the front separate type seatback cover from the front separate type seatback pad.

| 17. REMOVE FRONT SEPARATE TYPE SEATBACK COVER (w/ Climate Control Seat System) |
Pass the seatback cover bracket through the hole of the front separate type seatback pad.

Remove the hog rings and front separate type seatback cover from the front separate type seatback pad.
| 18. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK HEATER ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Seat Heater System) |
w/o Climate Control Seat System:
Cut off the tack pins and remove the front seatback heater assembly LH from the front separate type seatback cover.
w/ Climate Control Seat System:
Cut off the tack pins and remove the front seatback heater assembly LH from the front separate type seatback cover.
| 19. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK PROTECTOR |
Remove the front seatback protector.
Remove any remaining double-sided tape.

| 20. REMOVE OUTSIDE RECLINING ADJUSTER COVER LH |
Remove the screw.
Detach the claw and remove the outside reclining adjuster cover LH.
| 21. REMOVE OUTSIDE RECLINING ADJUSTER COVER RH |
Remove the screw.
Detach the claw and remove the outside reclining adjuster cover RH.
| 22. REMOVE INSIDE RECLINING ADJUSTER COVER LH |
Detach the wire harness clamp.
Remove the 2 screws.
Detach the claw and remove the inside reclining adjuster cover LH.
| 23. REMOVE INSIDE RECLINING ADJUSTER COVER RH |
Detach the wire harness clamp.
Remove the 2 screws.
Detach the claw and remove the inside reclining adjuster cover RH.
| 24. REMOVE LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY LH (for Driver Side) |
Remove the cable clamp and disconnect the active headrest cable from the seatback spring.

Remove the 4 springs.
Detach the 4 hooks and remove the seatback spring.
Disconnect the connector.
Remove the 2 screws and lumbar support adjuster assembly LH.
| 25. REMOVE BUSH (for Driver Side) |
Detach the 3 claws and remove the bush.
| 26. REMOVE LOWER ACTIVE HEADREST UNIT |
Remove the nut and detach clamp, and then disconnect the active headrest cable from the upper active headrest unit.
Remove the 2 nuts and lower active headrest unit.
| 27. REMOVE UPPER ACTIVE HEADREST UNIT |
Remove the 4 nuts and upper active headrest unit.
| 28. REMOVE FRONT LOWER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH |
Remove the screw.
Detach the hook and remove the lower seat cushion shield LH.
| 29. REMOVE FRONT LOWER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH |
Remove the screw.
Detach the hook and remove the lower seat cushion shield RH.
| 30. REMOVE SEAT HEATER CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System) |
Disconnect the connector and detach the wire harness clamp.
Detach the claw and remove the seat heater control sub-assembly.
| 31. REMOVE SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL ECU (w/ Climate Control Seat System) |
Disconnect the connector.
Detach the claw and remove the seat climate control ECU.
| 32. REMOVE SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL CONTROLLER LH (w/ Climate Control Seat System, for Seat Cushion) |
Detach the 4 claws and disconnect the seat climate control blower LH.
Detach the wire harness clamp.
Remove the 2 screws and seat climate control controller LH.
| 33. REMOVE SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL BLOWER LH (w/ Climate Control Seat System) |
Disconnect the connector and remove the 2 bolts.
Detach the wire harness clamp.
Remove the nut and seat climate control blower LH.
| 34. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR FILTER (w/ Climate Control Seat System) |
Rotate the No. 1 air filter counterclockwise to detach the claws and remove it.
| 35. REMOVE SEAT FRAME SET BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Climate Control Seat System) |
Detach the 4 hooks and remove the seat frame set bracket sub-assembly.
| 36. REMOVE SEAT POSITION SENSOR (for Driver Side) |
Using a T30 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the screw and seat position sensor with sensor protector.
Disconnect the connector.
Remove the seat slide position sensor protector from the seat position sensor.
| 37. REMOVE FRONT SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY LH |
Detach the 5 clamps and disconnect the wire harness.
Detach the 2 clamps and disconnect the wire harness.
Remove the 2 nuts and front seat airbag assembly LH.
- CAUTION:
- Make sure that the seat frame assembly is not deformed. If it is, replace it with a new one.
| 38. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE LH |
Disconnect the connectors and detach the wire harness clamps.
Detach the claw and remove the front seat wire LH.
