DTC B2784 Antenna Coil Open / Short

DESCRIPTION

This DTC is output when there is an open or short malfunction in the transponder key coil (built into the engine switch).

1.CLEAR DTC

Clear the DTCs ().

2.CHECK FOR DTC

Check for DTCs ().

  • OK:
  • DTC B2784 is not output.
NG
Go to step 3

USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK ()
3.REPLACE ENGINE SWITCH

for 1GR-FE


Temporarily replace the engine switch with a new one ().

for 1UR-FE


Temporarily replace the engine switch with a new one ().

for 1VD-FTV


Temporarily replace the engine switch with a new one ().

for 3UR-FE


Temporarily replace the engine switch with a new one ().

4.CLEAR DTC

Clear the DTCs ().

NEXT
5.CHECK FOR DTC

Recheck for DTCs ().

  • OK:
  • DTC B2784 is not output.

REPLACE CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY)
