NAME PLATE (w/o Tire Carrier) - REMOVAL

  • When removing the emblem and name plate, heat the vehicle body, emblem and name plate using a heat light.

  • NOTICE:
  • Do not heat the vehicle body, emblem and name plate excessively.
1. REMOVE SYMBOL EMBLEM

Put protective tape around the emblem.

Insert a piano wire between the vehicle body and emblem.

  • HINT:
  • Be careful of the boss position.

Tie objects that can serve as handles (for example, wooden blocks) to both wire ends.

Pull the piano wire and scrape off the double-sided tape that holds the emblem to the vehicle body.

  • NOTICE:
  • Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

Remove the emblem.

2. REMOVE REAR NO. 3 BODY NAME PLATE

Put protective tape around the rear body name plate.

Insert a piano wire between the vehicle body and rear body name plate.

Tie objects that can serve as handles (for example, wooden blocks) to both wire ends.

Pull the piano wire and scrape off the double-sided tape that holds the rear body name plate to the vehicle body.

  • NOTICE:
  • Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

Remove the rear body name plate.

3. REMOVE NO. 5 BACK DOOR NAME PLATE

Put protective tape around the back door name plate.

Insert a piano wire between the vehicle body and back door name plate.

Pull the piano wire and scrape off the double-sided tape that holds the back door name plate to the vehicle body.

  • Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

Remove the back door name plate.

4. REMOVE BACK DOOR NAME PLATE

Put protective tape around the rear body name plate.

Insert a piano wire between the vehicle body and rear body name plate.
