DESCRIPTION
The headlight leveling motor receives a signal from the headlight swivel ECU to operate. The headlight swivel ECU receives a signal indicating the operating conditions of the headlight leveling motor.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.
After replacing the headlight swivel ECU, initialization of the ECU is necessary (except w/ Dynamic Headlight Auto Leveling) ().
Check for DTCs ().
- OK:
- DTC B2417 or B2418 output does not occur.

| 2.PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (HEADLIGHT LEVELING MOTOR) |
Using the intelligent tester, perform the Active Test ().

*: Perform the Active Test with the engine running and vehicle stopped.
- OK:
- Headlight leveling motors operate normally.

Temporarily replace the headlight leveling motor with a new or normally functioning one ().
Check for DTCs ().
- OK:
- DTC B2417 or B2418 output does not occur.

Disconnect the headlight swivel ECU connector.
Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
- Standard Voltage:

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- Standard Resistance:

Disconnect the E101 headlight swivel ECU connector.
Disconnect the A54*1 or A58*2 headlight unit connector.
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- Standard Resistance:
- for LH:
