FRONT DIFFERENTIAL CARRIER ASSEMBLY - REMOVAL
| 1. REMOVE FRONT PROPELLER SHAFT ASSEMBLY |
Remove the front propeller shaft ().
| 2. REMOVE FRONT DRIVE SHAFT ASSEMBLY LH |
Remove the front drive shaft ().
| 3. REMOVE FRONT DRIVE SHAFT ASSEMBLY RH |
- HINT:
- Use the same procedure as the LH side.
| 4. REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION REBOUND STOPPER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH |
Remove the 3 bolts and suspension rebound stopper LH.
| 5. REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION REBOUND STOPPER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH |
Remove the 3 bolts and suspension rebound stopper RH.
| 6. REMOVE FRONT DIFFERENTIAL CARRIER ASSEMBLY |
Disconnect the breather tube from the front differential union.
Support the front differential with a jack.
Remove bolts A and B, and the nut and front differential support assembly.
Remove bolts C and D.
Slowly lower the jack, and remove the front differential carrier.
Remove bolts E and F, and the differential support assembly.
