DESCRIPTION
This is the visual mute signal circuit from the multi-media module receiver assembly to the television display assembly.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
1.CHECK MULTI-MEDIA MODULE RECEIVER ASSEMBLY |
Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
- Standard Voltage:
Tester Connection | Condition | Specified Condition |
F78-4 (VMTR) - Body ground | RSE is playing → Source is changed | 4 V or higher → Below 0.7 V → 4 V or higher |

2.CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-MEDIA MODULE RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - TELEVISION DISPLAY) |
Disconnect the F78 multi-media module receiver assembly connector.
Disconnect the L53 television display assembly connector.
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- Standard Resistance:
Tester Connection | Condition | Specified Condition |
F78-4 (VMTR) - L53-17 (VMTR) | Always | Below 1 Ω |
F78-4 (VMTR) - Body ground | Always | 10 kΩ or higher |

3.CHECK MULTI-MEDIA MODULE RECEIVER ASSEMBLY |
Disconnect the L53 television display assembly connector.
Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
- Standard Voltage:
Tester Connection | Condition | Specified Condition |
L53-17 (VMTR) - Body ground | Display is operating | 4 V or higher |
