DTC C1336/98 Zero Point Calibration of Acceleration Sensor Undone

Description

The skid control ECU receives signals from the G sensor.

  1. The G sensor zero point stored in the ECU is cleared.
  2. Zero point calibration has not been completed.

Inspection procedure

NOTICE:

When replacing the master cylinder solenoid, perform zero point calibration .

1.CHECK SENSOR INSTALLATION

  1. Check that the G sensor is installed properly.

    OK:

    The sensor is tightened to the specified torque. The sensor is not tilted.

  1. Perform the zero point calibration of the G sensor .

  1. Clear the DTCs .

  1. Check if the same DTCs are output .

    HINT:

    Reinstall the sensors, connectors, etc. and restore the previous vehicle conditions before rechecking for DTCs.
