1. REMOVE ENGINE ASSEMBLY (for DPF)

2. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK (for CCo)

3. REMOVE COWL BODY MOUNTING REINFORCEMENT LH (for CCo)

  1. Выверните 3 болта и снимите левый усилитель крепления кожуха к кузову.



4. REMOVE COWL TOP PANEL OUTER (for CCo)

  1. Remove the cowl top panel outer (for Sedan)

  1. Remove the cowl top panel outer (for Hatchback)

5. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER (for CCo)

  1. Detach the 4 clips and remove the engine cover.



6. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY (for CCo)

  1. Disconnect the mass air flow meter connector.

  1. Disconnect the No. 2 ventilation hose.

  1. Disconnect the 2 clamps and band, and remove the air cleaner cap sub-assembly.

  1. Remove the air cleaner filter element.



7. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR HOSE (for CCo)

  1. Loosen the 2 hose clamp bolts and remove No. 1 air hose.



8. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY (for CCo)

  1. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 compression springs.

  1. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 compression springs.

  1. Remove the exhaust pipe supports, then remove the front exhaust pipe assembly.



9. REMOVE NO. 1 MANIFOLD CONVERTER INSULATOR (for CCo)

  1. Remove the 4 bolts and manifold converter insulator.



10. REMOVE NO. 1 MANIFOLD CONVERTER INSULATOR (for DPF)

  1. Remove the 5 bolts and No. 1 manifold converter insulator.



11. REMOVE NO. 2 MANIFOLD CONVERTER INSULATOR (for DPF)

  1. Remove the 3 bolts and No. 2 manifold converter insulator.



12. REMOVE EXHAUST MANIFOLD CONVERTER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for CCo)

  1. Remove the bolt, nut and No. 1 manifold stay.

  1. Remove the 3 bolts and No. 2 manifold stay.

  1. Remove the 2 bolts, nut and No. 2 exhaust manifold stay.

  1. Remove the 3 nuts, manifold converter and gasket.



13. REMOVE EXHAUST MANIFOLD CONVERTER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for DPF)

  1. Disconnect the 2 exhaust gas temperature sensor connectors.

  1. Remove the bolt, nut and No. 1 manifold stay.

  1. Remove the 3 bolts and No. 2 manifold stay.

  1. Remove the 2 bolts, nut and No. 2 exhaust manifold stay.



    COROLLA, AURIS. ZZE150 ZRE151,152 NDE150

  1. Remove the 3 nuts, manifold converter sub-assembly and turbine outlet elbow gasket.



14. REMOVE NO. 1 TURBO INSULATOR

  1. Remove the 2 bolts and insulator.



15. REMOVE NO. 5 WATER BY-PASS PIPE


    COROLLA, AURIS. ZZE150 ZRE151,152 NDE150

  1. Using needle-nose pliers, grip the claws of the clip and slide the clip to disconnect the No. 3 water by-pass hose.

    УКАЗАНИЕ:
    Place a container under the connection before disconnecting the No. 3 water by-pass hose because water in the hose may spill out.

  1. Using needle-nose pliers, grip the claws of the clip and slide the clip to disconnect the No. 2 water by-pass hose.

    УКАЗАНИЕ:
    Place a container under the connection before disconnecting the No. 2 water by-pass hose because water in the hose may spill out.

  1. Remove the 2 bolts and by-pass pipe.



16. REMOVE TURBO OIL OUTLET PIPE


    COROLLA, AURIS. ZZE150 ZRE151,152 NDE150

  1. Remove the 4 bolts, 2 gaskets and outlet pipe.

    УКАЗАНИЕ:
    Place a container under the connection before disconnecting the outlet pipe because oil in the pipe may spill out.


17. REMOVE NO. 2 TURBO OIL PIPE

  1. Remove the 2 bolts, 2 gaskets and oil pipe.



18. REMOVE TURBOCHARGER STAY


    COROLLA, AURIS. ZZE150 ZRE151,152 NDE150

  1. Remove the 2 nuts, 2 spacers and turbocharger stay.



19. REMOVE TURBOCHARGER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    COROLLA, AURIS. ZZE150 ZRE151,152 NDE150

  1. Remove the 3 nuts, gasket and turbocharger.



20. REMOVE NO. 2 WATER BY-PASS HOSE (for CCo)


    COROLLA, AURIS. ZZE150 ZRE151,152 NDE150

  1. Using pliers, grip the claws of the 2 clips and slide the 2 clips to remove the No. 2 water by-pass hose.

    УКАЗАНИЕ:
    Place a container under the connection before removing the water by-pass hose because coolant in the hose may spill out.


21. REMOVE EGR COOLER ASSEMBLY (for CCo)

  1. Remove the 4 bolts.

  1. Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts, EGR cooler, O-ring and 2 gaskets.



22. REMOVE EGR COOLER ASSEMBLY (for DPF)

  1. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the No. 2 EGR valve.

  1. Remove the 4 bolts (*1).

  1. Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts, EGR cooler assembly and 2 gaskets (*2).



    COROLLA, AURIS. ZZE150 ZRE151,152 NDE150

  1. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 nuts.

  1. Separate the No. 1 EGR pipe, No. 2 EGR valve assembly, EGR cooler, O-ring and 2 gaskets.



23. REMOVE EXHAUST MANIFOLD


    COROLLA, AURIS. ZZE150 ZRE151,152 NDE150

  1. Remove the 8 nuts, 8 collars and exhaust manifold.

  1. Remove the exhaust manifold gasket.
