1. INSPECT CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR

  1. Check the voltage.

    1. Disconnect the camshaft position sensor connector.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.

    3. Using a voltmeter, measure the voltage between the terminals on the harness side.

      Standard voltage:
      Tester Connection
      		Condition
      		Specified Condition
      1 (EG) - 3 (+B)
      		-
      		4.75 to 5.25 V
      If the voltage is not as specified, check the wire harness and ECM.
