УКАЗАНИЕ:
  1. DTC P0016 is set when the engine is cranked 12 revolutions or more.
  2. This DTC shows that the camshaft is installed at an incorrect angle to the crankshaft (for example: due to a jumped tooth of the timing chain)

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

Read freeze frame data using an intelligent tester. The ECM records vehicle and driving condition information as freeze frame data the moment a DTC is stored. When troubleshooting, freeze frame data can be helpful in determining whether the vehicle was running or stopped, whether the engine was warmed up or not, whether the air fuel ratio was lean or rich, as well as other data recorded at the time of a malfunction.

5.ADJUST VALVE TIMING

6.CHECK WHETHER DTC OUTPUT (P0016)

  1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.

  1. Turn the tester on.

  1. Enter the following menu items: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / DTC.

  1. Read the DTCs.
