WATER HOSE JOINT - REMOVAL
| 1. REMOVE V-BANK COVER |
Raise the V-bank cover to disengage the clip on the rear of the cover. Raise the cover again to disengage the 2 clips on the front of the cover and remove the cover.
- NOTICE:
- Attempting to disengage both front and rear clips at the same time may cause the cover to break.
| 2. REMOVE HEATER WATER OUTLET HOSE |
Using pliers, grip the claws of the clip and slide the clip to disconnect the heater water outlet hose.
| 3. REMOVE HEATER WATER INLET HOSE |
- HINT:
- Disconnection of the heater water outlet hose is the same as for the heater water inlet hose.
| 4. REMOVE WATER BY-PASS GLOW PLUG |
Remove the 2 grommets, 2 nuts, 2 spring washers, and 2 washers. Disconnect the heater blower wire.
Remove the water by-pass glow plug.
- NOTICE:
- Prepare a container or a piece of cloth in case of coolant leakage.
| 5. REMOVE WATER HOSE JOINT |
Remove the 2 bolts.
Disconnect the 2 hoses, and remove the water hose joint.
